This monk insisted that I take his picture along with his friends and family. It was at a mid-summer festival on a huge grassy plain. He wrote his address in Tibetian on a scap of paper, and then he tried writing it in Chinese. We copied the Chinese when we got home and used that to mail him the pictures. I sure hope he got them!
