Michael Go writes:

Families and friends gather under the hut with the "nipa" roof to escape from the heat of the midday sun. Underneath the house, you can hear the clucking of chickens and the squealing of pigs while all around the hut, people chat and sit on platforms made of bamboo slats. Some sing to the strumming of the guitar while others take a midday siesta.

Romy writes:

Actually, this is more of a domicile than a 'hut', a 'hut' usually is very small, n mostly used for escaping the heat of the sun, for resting, kinda like a shed.
