Leyte Island, Philippines
Teetering on the border of reverting back to rain forest, cultivated fields in the Philippines are lush and overgrown. A dirt road carries motorcycles, jeepneys, and walkers.

I've been to Tacloban City on Leyte. Your picture captures that sleepiness and rawness of Leyte. It reminds me of surrounding barrios outside of Tacloban.

I was born in Leyte and live there most of my life. Currently I'm working in the middle east for 3 years now and seing this picture just reminds me of home and brings back memories of the roads I use to track with my friends when we go hiking.
