This is a picture of the Bodenaadth stupa outside of Kathmandu. I rented a clean clay lined room just across the street from it in 1973 for $15 a month. There is a Buddhist monastery and you may have the buildiing right there. This was my first adventure outside my hometown of Salt Lake. I visited a friend who was studying to be a monk and still is a monk somewhere in the Bay Area. I have seen his picture on the net and heard one of his lectures. My last memory of seeing him in 3D is with the eyes of this stupa behind him. I gave him a 150 rupees and headed to India. The picture brings back poignant memories of the stupa and Nepal.

I too visited this great Buddhist Stupa in the Katmandu Valley. I was moved by the peace and upliftment found there. I'm now a Buddhist Lama in California. Blessings.
