Brian writes:
Sometimes you are served tea with a pot that has been broken and fixed many times. Cement and metal staples holding the precious porcelain things together. Chi seeia, or chi kanna. Washing in moving water. Reaching with the right hand, Naan, the smell of charcoal burning and dust. Sheep fat kebob.
Sitting on wool carpets on benches. After, wards, homemade, right before your eyes, sherbert with the subtle taste of roses.
